How to Recover from Life
Reflections, Insipirations, and 1-on-1 Coaching

This is a space for truth, recovery, and raw reflection.
I share how I used music, mindfulness, and skateboarding to deal with OCD, addiction, and the grind of modern life.
I’m not selling a quick fix. I’m telling you what worked for me, in case it helps you, too.
I offer 1-on-1 coaching if you are seeking more in depth support.
This is How to Recover From Life.
💭 Personal reflections on recovery, mental health, and real healing
🎵 Thoughts on music, creativity, and why the grind isn’t always growth
🛹 Lessons learned from skateboarding and movement
🧠 Tools that helped me retrain my brain and stay clean
📓 Monthly blogs, weekly resources, and more tools crafted from my story
What You'll Find Here
A space to share real stories, tools, and reflections on healing through skateboarding, music, and mindfulness. I’m Michael. I’m clean 4 years, sharing what helped me recover—no gimmicks, just honesty.
The Monthly Feeling
A Note on the Monthly Feeling: December Focus
We are hitting PAUSE on new content for December.
I'm using this time to redesign the entire Recover from Life site, ensuring it better supports my voice and message, and to prepare for a much bigger, better 2026.
The new site, featuring a refined focus and our new content schedule (1 monthly blog, 1 monthly resource), will officially launch the first week of January 2026!
In the meantime: You can still revisit the resource archive and all previous "Monthly Feelings," as well as any other content on the site.
Crucially: I am still taking on new 1-on-1 coaching clients right now.
If you are struggling with addiction, OCD, or navigating general life challenges and are looking for non-judgmental, integrated support, click here to inquire about sessions.
