🥤 My Daily Smoothie (And Why I Still Make It)

Some days, recovery feels like a heavy lift. Other days, it’s just a smoothie.
This one’s been part of my routine for years. It's a small ritual that helps me start each day grounded, nourished, and like I'm choosing myself from the very first sip.
Here’s what’s in it:
1 cup strawberries (frozen or fresh)
1 cup yogurt (I use plain, but do your thing)
1 cup oats (uncooked)
1 tsp liquid stevia (or whatever sweetener you like)
4 oz hot water (softens the oats / warmer to drink)
4 oz almond milk (or any milk)
Blend until your liking. That’s it!
For me, it’s not just about the nutrients; it’s about having one thing in my day that’s consistent, easy, and good for me. It’s one less thing to think about. When my mind’s busy or my energy’s off, I don’t want decisions. I want something that’s already dialed. This smoothie’s become that for me. And it reminds me I’m still choosing recovery in the smallest ways.
